The address is P.O. Box 261 Buttonwillow. Mary was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Charles and Susie Ruhl. She spent her youth in Arvin, marrying Othar Young during her senior year of high school. She and Othar were married 39 years. Ten years after Othars death she married Ford Williams and spent 7 happy years with him. Marys family includes 3 sons, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Additionally, she was gracefully received in Fords family. Marys family includes Bob & Cindy, Rich & Patti, and Chris Young. Grandchildren include: Cheryl, Christie, Michael, Katrina, Jeff, Jason, Valerie and Leslie. Mary was active in her church, New Life Fellowship, the Buttonwillow Chamber of Commerce, The Buttonwillow senior center and the Gleaners. This activity started after she retired from the Buttonwillow and Elk Hills School System as a teacher. Mary lived a full and active life enjoying painting, ceramics, quilting, travel and taking her grandchildren to Morro Bay. She worked in the community and in her church. She enjoyed bridge, bunko, cribbage and simply being with her friends and family who will miss her dearly.
