Adrian Miguel Martinez
May 1, 1984 - February 19, 2005 

Reciation of the Holy Rosary will be held at St. Thereses Catholic Church in 
Shafter for Adrian Martinez, age 20, on Thursday, February 24, 2005, at 6 p.m. 
A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 25, 2005 at 10 a.m. at St. 
Thereses Catholic Church. Father Pedro Umana will officiate at the service. 
Interment will follow at Shafter Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at 
Peters Funeral Home chapel in Shafter from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday. 

Adrian was born May 1, 1984, to Frank and Santos Martinez in Bakersfield, 
California and was raised in Shafter. He went to Shafter elementary schools 
and Shafter High School with the class of 2002 where he ran track and enjoyed 
the discus. He worked as an electrician and enjoyed playing darts, racing go-
carts and playing basketball. 

Adrian is survived by his parents, Frank and Santos; brother, Tony Martinez 
and wife Lezli; sisters, Tina Bojorquez and husband Jose, and Amanda Martinez; 
nieces, Larissa Martinez, Letty Bojorquez, Ariana Zubiate, Samantha Zubiate, 
and Jasmin Zubiate; nephew, Tony Bojorquez.
