Vernon Green
Services: Thurs., Feb. 24, 11 a.m.

Viewing and visitation will be Wednesday, February 23, 2005, 11 a.m. with an 
hour of meditation to be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Ruckers 
Mortuary for Vernon Green, 43, who passed away February 16, 2005. 

A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 24, 2005, at 11 a.m. at 
Union Cemetery, 730 Potomac Ave. Minister Tyree D. Toliver will officiate with 
interment to follow at Union Cemetery.

Vernon Ellis Green was born on October 15, 1961, in Bakersfield, California. 
He graduated from South High School. Vernons true passion was his music and 
his computer. He was loved and respected by his family and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton Green, Sr. and Ora Green; two 
brothers, Delbert Green and Dalton Green, Jr.

Vernon Ellis leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Theresa Johnson and 
husband Grady Johnson; and brothers, Frank Green and wife Minnie, Louis Green 
and wife Brenda, and Vincent Green and wife Sharon, all of Bakersfield, 
California; three nieces and four nephews.

We are comforted by the knowledge he is in a better place. His family and many 
friends will miss him dearly.
