Robert S. Tormohlen
Services: Thurs., Feb. 24, 1 p.m.

Robert S. Tormohlen, age 81, resident of Bishop for 37 years, was born in 
Indianapolis, Indiana, on February 17, 1924, and passed away on February 20, 
2005 at his residence in Bishop. 

Robert was a retired CHP Officer. He served in the Bakersfield and Bishop area 
for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine M. Tormohlen of Bishop; son and daughter-in-
law, Fred and Lynn Tormohlen of Bishop; two daughters and their husbands, 
Carol and Glenn Nakashima of Bakersfield and Lois and Ken Coverstone of 
Wellington, NV; five grandchildren, Beth, Carla, Jeffrey, Amanda, and Max; and 
one great-grandson, Clayton.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 24, at 1:00 p.m. Interment 
will be at East Line Street Cemetery, Bishop, CA.
