Helen Grant
April 6, 1924 - February 25, 2005

Visitation for Helen Grant will be held at Kern River Family Mortuary, 1900 N. 
Chester Ave., March 1, 2005 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Family and friends 
will celebrate her life on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, 1:30 P.M at Greenlawn 
Mortuary Chapel on River Blvd. Interment to follow. 

Helen enjoyed quilting, playing bingo, and family gatherings. She is survived 
by one brother, Bud Boyd; sisters Edith Shrader, Flora Deal, and Minnie 
Spurling; daughters Carolyn Hughes, Linda Reed and Marsha Hall; nine 
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one on the way; one great-great-
grandchild; many relatives and friends and BINGO buddies.

Helen will always be remembered for her need to help others and her loving 
giving heart. The family wants to give thanks to Optimal Hospice and nurse 
Marion for all the help, love and compassion.
