Services: Thurs., Mar. 3, 11 a.m.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 3, 11:00 a.m., St. John 
Missionary Baptist Church, 1300 E. Brundage Lane for Laura Howard at 33 
Northrup St. for many years. Laura passed away February 21, 2005, at the home 
of her daughter, Jeanette Pollard Dillard while being cared for by Jeanette 
and other loving family members during the days of a progressive illness. 

Dr. Tyree Toliver will officiate. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. 
Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 2, 2:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. in the 
Bakersfield Family Funeral Directors Chapel. An hour of meditation will be 
held Wednesday, 7:00 8:00 p.m.
