Norma Lee Bradford

Visitation begins today, Wednesday, March 9th from 4-7 p.m. with Graveside 
services being held Thursday, March 10th, 1:00 p.m., both at Hillcrest 
Memorial Park Mortuary. 

Norma Bradford passed away into the arms of her Lord on March 7, 2005. She was 
born on November 11, 1923 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Cary and Arthur Bradford 
the oldest of three children. They moved to Bakersfield where she met and 
married her high school sweetheart, William, whose best friend was her 
brother, Buck. They remained married for 50 years until Bill passed away 
suddenly from a heart attack at the young age of 67.

Norma is survived by her two children, daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Elias 
Virrey; daughter, Sherri Fairbanks; her brother and sister-in-law, Buck and 
Charlotte Bradford; brother, Billy and his wife, Pat; two grandchildren, 
Michaelin and Robert and one great-grandchild, Brittany Turney. She is 
preceded in death by her husband, William; mother, Cary and father, Arthur; 
and mother-in-law, Amy Amanda Bradford.

She took great joy in church activities, stichery, tending to her plants, her 
little dog, Sugar and having fun with her best friends, Marsha Finley and Fern 
Bladwin.
