Matthew Nathaniel Vargas
Jan. 17, 2005 - Mar. 4, 2005

Visitation for Matthew Nathaniel Vargas will be held at Basham Funeral Care 
(3312 Niles St.) on Friday, March 11, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. with 
funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel. 
Pastor Ken Armstrong of Calvary Chapel of Bakersfield will be officiating. 

Matthew Nathaniel Vargas was born on January 17, 2005 and left us on March 4, 
2005. We were blessed with baby Matthew for 46 days before God took him to his 
heavenly home. Our little angel Matthew will always be remembered and loved.

Matthew is survived by his parents, Juan Vargas Jr. and Sandy Briseņo of 
Bakersfield; brother, Vincent Carrera of Bakersfield; sister, Jennifer Estrada 
of Bakersfield; grandparents, Paul and Lydia Gomez of Ridgecrest; 
grandparents, Sabino Briseņo Jr., Ida Briseņo and Juan Vargas of Bakersfield; 
great-grandparents, Bessie Briseņo, Felipa Vargas and Jose Vargas of 
Bakersfield as well as numerous aunts and uncles. For additional service
