Viewing for Janis will be held Thursday, July 8, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., with 
services to follow at 1:00 p.m., at Autumn Oaks Chapel, 4030 Wible Rd., 
Bakersfield, California. 

Janis 44, passed away June 21, 2004. She was born October 9, 1959, in 
Bakersfield and resided here all her life. She was preceded in death by her 
father, Henry E. Thomas and sister, Pamela J. Thomas. She is survived by her 
mother, Emma J. Thomas; brother, Ricky Thomas; daughter, Monica Brown; son, 
Richard Rodriguez Jr.; and seven grandchildren; and her beloved friend and 
partner, Bill Juneau.
