Elizabeth "Betty" June Carpenter 
Oct. 10, 1931 - Mar. 6, 2005

Visitation for Betty Carpenter will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles 
St.) on Friday, March 11, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. and funeral services will be held 
in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. 
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. 

Betty was born in Porterville, CA on October 10, 1931 and left to be with the 
Lord on March 6, 2005. She was a member of East Hills Christian Church. She 
married Donald Carpenter on February 17, 1956. Their first date was a blind 
date. It was a match made in Heaven. They were married 45 years. Mom was a 
very unique person, one of a kind. If she met you once, she thought of you as 
her friend. She never met a stranger. She loved her kids and adored her 
grandchildren. She loved being amongst family and friends and after visiting, 
she always gave you a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She will be deeply missed. 
We have comfort knowing she is back with our Dad and we will see them both 
again in Heaven.

Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Carpenter and Aaron 
Spaulding; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Wayne Mitchell; sister, 
Josephine Hughey; brother and sister-in-law, William and Lisa Montgomery; 
sister and brother-in-law, Goldie and Gene Packer; seven grandchildren; one 
great-granddaughter as well as numerous nieces and nephews. For additional
