Marguerite L. Guidry

Visitation will be held Friday, July 9, 2004, 1-3 p.m., at Greenlawn Southwest 
Mortuary.

Marguerite L. Guidry was a native and longtime resident of Kern County. She 
peacefully passed away on July 5, 2004. 

Marguerite retired from the Purchasing Dept. of Bakersfield City Schools.

She is survived by her devoted, loving son, Scott; daughter-in-law, Becky 
(whom she considered a daughter); sisters, Edith Trunkey (Ventura), Della Ryan 
(Bakersfield); brothers, Joe Hoff (Laguna Niguel) and wife, Jeanne, Doug Hoff 
(Bakersfield) and wife, Catherine; sister-in-law, Jean Hovis (Texas) and 
husband, Edward and family; surrogate mother to nieces, Kristi Adams (Oceano) 
and Vicki Morris (New Port Beach); and numerous nieces and nephews. Marguerite 
was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry (2003) and her brother, Mike Hoff.

Margarite was dearly loved and cherished by everyone who knew her, she touched 
the lives of many with her warm sensitive heart.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the entire staff of San 
Joaquin Community Hospital for the loving care given Marguerite.
