Estrada Services: Sun., July 11 at 6PM James C. Estrada was born on Aug. 12, 1917 in Winnemucca, Nevada and passed away at his home in Shafter under the care of his family on July 6, 2004. James was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Anita Estrada. He is survived by his four children, Rachael & Joe Martinez, Jim & Maria Estrada, Esther Estrada and Sandi & Aric Coleman; grandchildren, JoAnn & Joel Hinnohosa, Joey & Terri Martinez, Desiree Vieira, Michelle & Amir Aranni, Coach & Elvia Gomez, Jaime Estrada and Arica & Cole Bias; great grandchildren, Heather & Scott Woods, Violet Martinez, Amber Martinez and Zoey Martinez, Cameron Vieira, Alex, Andrew & Mitra Aranni; his sister, Ellie Risher of Tiburon; and great nieces and nephews from the Bay area. James and Anita were married in Oakland on December 18, 1938. They resided in the Bay area for 12 years and moved to Shafter in 1950. James was active and a faithful minister of Jehovahs Witnesses for 41 years. He was known for his love of people and sharing his Bible truths and the hope for paradise on earth. He was loved and cherished by many. He touched the hearts of many with his warm sensitive smile and heart. He always had a handshake and a big hug for those who he was especially fond of. He will be missed by his family and friends and those of his spiritual family. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, July 11, 6:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 523 Kern St., in Shafter. Lee Downing will be officiating.
