Jim enjoyed cooking, watching basketball on television, and loved to play golf. Jim and Sonja moved to Pine Mountain lake in Groveland in 2001, so he could spend his retirement years on the golf course. He also loved to tinker in his work shop where he could create and build many projects. Jim loved his grandchildren. He would spend hours on the floor at their level, playing with them, and they loved his stories. He would tell them bedtime stories that fascinated them. The loves of Jims life were his bride, Sonja; daughters, Vicki and Joan; grandchildren, Eric, Kyle, Rose, Taylor, Mikaela, Mackenzie and Travis; sister, Helen; brother, Ben; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends, and most of all his Lord, Jesus Christ.
