Services: Mon., July 12, 10:00 a.m.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at South 
Kern Cemetery District, Arvin for Gatha Hudson who passed away July 8, 2004 at 
age 92. 

Gatha was born in Tula, Mississippi to Mack and Betty Johnson. She was 
preceded in death by her husband Marvin Hudson, daughters Janie Watts, Nancy 
Hudson, son William Hudson, grandchildren Bobby Watts, Dwayne Ashmore, and 
Becky Bennett, great-grandchildren Zachary Lindsey, Stormy Lindsey and Baby 
Galvin. She is survived by her children Betty Bennett of Oklahoma City, Annie 
Ashmore of Tehachapi, James Hudson of Sardis, Mississippi, Sally Lindsey of 
Bakersfield, and Sue Ryan of Jena Louisiana and Getha and husband Gerald 
Lindsey of Bakersfield, Including 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 
and 17 great great-grandchildren. Many other relatives and friends.

We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Pleasant Care Convalesant 
Hospital and Doctor Pankaj Shukla.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 11, 2004 at Arvin Funeral Home, 600 
Tucker Street, Arvin
