Memorial services will be held Monday, July 19, at 7:00 p.m. and funeral 
services will be held on Tuesday, July 20, at 10:00 a.m., at the New Life 
Apostolic Church, 3637 Hughes Lane, for Mary S. Ruiz, 67. Pastor Obed Aguilar 
will officiate and her final resting place will be at Greenlawn Southwest 
Cemetery, 2739 Panama Ln. 

Mary was born February 14, 1937, in Artesia, New Mexico. She was a loving 
wife, mother and sister who left us on July 15, 2004 to be with the Lord, 
after a long illness, never losing her faith. She was a longtime member of the 
New Life Apostolic Church and was loved by all who knew her.

She leaves behind a loving husband of 49 years, Victor Ruiz; three sons, Mark, 
Vic Jr. and Jacob Ruiz; three brothers, Froilan, Larry and Rudy Sanchez; along 
with two sisters, Nancy and Ernestina Chavarria.
