Glin William Scott
Services: Today, July 20, 2:00 P.M.

Graveside services will be held today, July 20, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Arvin 
Cemetery for Glin William Scott. 

Glin William Scott was born on November 20, 1914 to Lester and Dolly Scott in 
Snowball, Arkansas. He went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2004 at his home.

He married Estella Richie on May 1, 1937. He and Estella have 3 sons, Utah of 
Muldrow, OK., Dean of Arvin, Delbert and wife Cecile of Bakersfield; 8 
grandchildren, Karen Martin, Robert Scott, Stephanie Rickel, Kim Mitchell, 
Michael Scott, Daren Scott, Steven Breedlove and Shannon Scott, including 16 
great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. Glin is preceded in death 
by his parents, sister, Ora Couughran; daughters-in-law, Charlene Scott and 
Laura Scott.

Glin had many friends in Arvin and was a member of Arvin Assembly of God for 
many years. He went to work for the County of Kern for the road department and 
worked for them for twenty six years. He was retired longer that he worked for 
the county, 29 years. He loved his family very much and in the past several 
years, he took loving care of his wife Estella.

The family would like to thank those that called, prayed, and visited during 
Glins illness. Than you to Dr. Kathryn Mason for her care, Mary Williams and 
others from Optimal Care. A special thanks to Shannon, granddaughter, for all 
she did to care for her grandparents.
