Dorothy Faye Camargo
August 18, 1929 July 13, 2004

Dorothy was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to George and Lena Driskell. She moved 
to Bakersfield when she turned 5 years old and she resided there until she 
passed. 

Dorothy was a nurse at Kern Medical Center for 23 years. She enjoyed her 
career and told stories of the fun she had working with the pediatric patients.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Jose Javier Camargo and her five children, 
Victoria McKay, Penny Payne, Lynda Luttrell, Michael Luttrell and his wife, 
Michelle, and Terri Leslie and her husband, Ronny. She was blessed with 14 
grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She touched all their lives 
and will be greatly missed.
