Tom Kuwahara
Services: Wed., July 21, 10 a.m. 

Services for Tom Kuwahara will be held at First Christian Church, Truxtun and 
S on Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Union 
Cemetery. Reverend Alpha Takagi will officiate. 

Tom, 85, peacefully slipped away on July 17, 2004. He founded Blueprint 
Service Company in 1954, which he ran with his beloved wife, Gladys. The 50-
year family business still prospers under the direction of his two sons, Terry 
and Keith.

Tom also leaves behind a daughter, Connie McLaughlin and her husband, Jim; 
daughters-in-law, Kim and Ann; 5 grandchildren, Stacy, Kari, Kyle, Christopher 
and Shelly and her husband, Jeffrey Greenfield and great-grandson, Chayson. 
Tom had one brother, Richy (Yoshito) of San Jose and four sisters: Mary 
(Fumico) Okasaki of San Jose, Elizabeth (Miyoco) Tsuchiyama of Monterey Park, 
Setchy (Setsuco) Okada of Laguna Niguel, and Patsy (Hisaco) Kanada of San 
Mateo.

Tom was a former member of the Hillcrest Lions Club and a member of St. 
Andrews Methodist Church. He also dutifully served his country in WWII. But 
Toms two passions in life were his wife and the game of golfwe will decline to 
place an order of priority. He also took great joy in his grandchildren; 
constantly sneaking them Sees candy or a little money to buy themselves 
something special. His family, friends and community will dearly miss his 
gracious generosity, subtle sense of humor and warm smile. In lieu of flowers, 
contributions in his memory may be made to ALPHA Canine Sanctuary, 391-8212.

No visitation is scheduled.
