Alice Cortez, 68, of Delano, formally of Orange, died Friday, July 16, 2004 of 
cancer.

Preceded in death by son, Mario Cortez. She is survived by son, David Cortez 
and wife, Martha; daughters, Jessie Subia, Michelle Cortez and husband, Rick 
Harrold; daughter-in-law, Angelika Cortez and husband, Paul Williams; 
grandchildren, Alex Subia, Anastasia Cortez, Nicole Cortez, Miguel Cortez, 
Casandra Cortez, Tevin Williams and Michael Harrold; great-grandchildren, 
Isaiah Cortez and Marina Cortez; mother, Dolores Yneges; brothers, Felix, 
Tony, Raul, Henry, Rudy, Emelio and Raymond Yneges; and sister, Virginia 
Espinoza.

Rosary will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2004, 9:30 a.m. with funeral mass to 
follow at 10:00 a.m., La Purisima church, Orange. Burial to follow at Holy 
Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange.

Pallbearers will be David Cortez, Michelle Cortez, Alex Subia, Miguel Cortez, 
Rick Harrold and Paul Williams. Honorary pallbearer, Rudy Yneges. In lieu of 
flowers, donations requested to: St. Judes Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 
38101-0050.
