A Friend Of Mine 


Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2004, 10:00 a.m., in the 
Great Room of Mission Family Mortuary, 531 California Ave., with Military 
Honors by the Associated Veterans of Kern County.

Dale was born January 9, 1929, in Pleasanton, Kansas to Claude and Alma Ellis. 
After Dale graduated high school, Dales family moved to Bakersfield. Dale 
served four years in the U.S. Air Force. Dale worked his entire life in the 
concrete business until he retired as owner of Dale Ellis Concrete 
Construction.

Dale is survived by his wife, Dorrene; sons, Randy Ellis and wife, Joanie and 
Clayton Ellis and wife, Therisa; daughter, Debi; grandchildren, Dwayne, 
Jaclyn, Jennifer, Brandon, Ryan, Cody; brothers, Jim, Clayton and Tom Ellis; 
sister, Vera Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Alma 
Ellis; sister, Doris West and granddaughter, Britney Ann Ellis.

In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to Optimal Hospice.
