Services: Friday, July 23, 11 a.m.

A funeral will be held for Rebecca Becky Ann Dale, 80 of Durham, on Friday, 
July 23, 2004, at 11 a.m., at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church in 
Chico. She passed away at her home on Saturday, July 17, 2004. 

She was born July 2, 1924 to William and Pearl Fillbach in South Dakota. Becky 
studied Cosmetology and trained under Lyle Westmore in Hollywood. In 1952 she 
married Red Dale in Las Vegas. They lived in Bakersfield for 30 years and then 
in Redding before moving to Durham. She was a past president of the Cowbelles 
of Kern County, a member of the Assistance League and St. Augustines of 
Canterbury Episcopal Church in Chico. Beckys top priority was always family, 
followed by her love of horses and cooking.

Her survivors include her husband of 52 years, Red Dale of Durham; daughter 
and son-in-law, Kay and Jerry Walters of Durham; son and daughter-in-law, Bob 
and Carol Dale of Redding; and grandson, John Walters of Portland, OR; 2 
granddaughters, Pam Pemberton of Milpitas and Nicole Eads of Chico.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday evening at Bruise Funeral Home 
in Chico. Donations may be made in her name to Enloe Hospice or St. Augustines 
Episcopal Church in care of the funeral home.
