Richard Dean Dollar
October 12, 1918 July 21, 2004

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., at 
Hillcrest Memorial Park. A visitation will also be held on Sunday, July 25, 
2004, from 4-8 p.m., at Hillcrest Morutary. 

Richard, 85, peacefully slipped away on July 21, 2004. He was born on October 
12, 1918, in Hazen, Arkansas to O.B. Dollar and Mattie McClung, later his 
family moved to Seminole, Oklahoma where he met and married his belated wife, 
Lois Cawvey. He worked as a farmer until 1948. He then moved to Bakersfield to 
work for Kern Oil/Getty for 28 years retiring in 1980.

Richard is survived by his son, Richard Dollar; daughters, Lojuana Lucas and 
husband, Pat, Sue Salcido, and Carol Rice and husband, Jerry, and numerous 
other relatives that will miss him.
