She is survived by her father, Jose Luis Zubia; mother, Blanca Stella Cantu; son, Daniel Xavier Rodriguez; brother Joseph Adrian Trevino; grandparents, Angela and Jesus ( Chewy) Aceves; great grandfather, Jose Garcia; paternal grandmother, Carmen LaSalde; god-father, Thomas Garcia; aunt and uncles, Jesus Garcia Aceves, Jr. (Chewy); Angel Aceves, Jessica Maria Aceves; Kristine Aceves; Raymond LaSalde; Jose Manuel LaSalde; numerous other family members and many friends Amanda was smart, beautiful and full of love. She always had a smile on her face. She loved Selena and her music. When she was younger, she was in a Selena look-a-like contest. She hated J-Lo. Even though she was a young mother, she was a typical teenager. She loved hanging out with her friends, going to the mall, and talking on the phone. She was always so vain and did not want to be seen without her make up on. She loved getting her nails and hair done, and taking lots of pictures of her and her son together. She had plans of continuing her education and becoming a beautician some day. She also talked about being a social worker. Her favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys, and she had an ambition to go to Texas some day. With the help of her grandmother and support from her extended family, she was an excellent mother to her young son. Como La Flor, Con Tanto Amor Me Distes Tu. Amanda we will all miss you terribly.
