Memorial service for Kaye Aldridge will be held at First Church of the 
Nazarene, 2801 Hughes Ln., on Wed., July 28 at 10:00 a.m. 

Katherine Kaye Lou Aldridge was born Jan. 16, 1922 and passed on peacefully in 
her home July 23, 2004. She lived much of her life in Michigan and moved to 
Bakersfield in 1986.

Kaye was a devote Christian with a deep faith in God. She was a dedicated 
companion to husband James Jim Lewis Aldridge for 57 years. Together, with 
beautiful commitment, they raised six children: Patricia Gail, James Jimmy 
Lewis Jr., Laura Christine, Vickie Alice, Tanya Marie and Paul Alan, who is in 
Heaven with his mother. Paul passed on in September of 1999. Kaye was also 
very proud of her 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Kaye was a wonderful mother and friend. Her love was unconditional, her 
console wise and she believed in having fun. As a grandmother, she was 
diligent and never forgot to recognize a birthday.

Kaye was an active volunteer at First Church of the Nazarene. She was a great 
cook and enjoyed bringing goodies to potlucks. She taught classes, directed 
singing, did clean-up and made people laugh. Kaye lived a rich active life.

Her greatest attributes where her Faith in God, unconditional love and spirit 
of generosity. Her gift was the love she brought to the people in her life. 
Her lifes joy was the love she received from everyone she knew. Kaye will be 
deeply missed.
