Mom was born the third of four children to George and Dolores Silva. With her 
passing the family is back together again.

Mom worked for her kids as hard as a person could. She enjoyed being a noon 
aide at Longfellow Elementary during our youth. She enjoyed this so much she 
enrolled back in school and graduated to become a teachers aide for ten years.

As we grew to four siblings she enjoyed working for thrift stores. To this day 
we don't know how she made ends meet, for she loved to shop the same stores 
she worked for.

She met and married a good man, Timeo. They added two more to the clan and 
enjoyed each other until his passing in August of 1998.

Her strength will live in our hearts and soul forever. She leaves her legacy 
to John and Paula Martinez, Mark and Susan Martinez, Michael and Marlene, Rudy 
and Veronica (Kat) Rodriguez, Bueno and Sylvia, Eddie and Christy. She loved 
her 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and Mom, we will be adding more.

Grams will be carried to her resting place by Michael Martinez, Bueno 
Martinez, Eddie Martinez, Rudy Rodriguez, Michael (Munchie) Martinez and 
George Martinez.

Visitation is today, July 28th from 2-4 p.m., at Doughty-Calhoun-OMeara with 
Rosary at St. Josephs Church, at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 
celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Church with interment 
following at Hillcrest Cemetery.
