Margaret Evelyn Hernandez

The Rosary will be recited today at 7:00 p.m. at Hopson-Anspach Family 
Mortuary, Bakersfield and Mass of the Christian Burial will be said at 9:00 
a.m., on Friday, July 30, 2004, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for Margaret 
Evelyn Hernandez, 60, of Bakersfield, who died July 27, 2004 in a Bakersfield 
Hospital. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. 

Margaret attended Our Lady of Guadalupe School and Garces High School. She 
attended Federico College of Beauty and was employed at Onas Beauty Salon, 
Blondies Beauty Salon and was last employed at Sally Beauty Supply.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Hernandez, her 
brothers, Alfred and Richard Hernandez and uncles. She left behind her 
brothers, Charles and SuzAnne, Frank and Lorraine, Robert and Diana Hernandez; 
sisters, Margie and Candey Sotelo, Carmen and Manuel Martinez, Evelyn and 
Victor Cotera, Dolores and Luis Rementegui, Ramona Hernandez, Anita and Bob 
Correa, numerous nieces and nephews and special companion, Ron Maneke.

Casket bearers will be Andrew Sotelo, Victor Cotera, Jr., Jean-Pierre 
Rementegui, Lawrence Rementegui, John Joseph Hernandez and Steven Cotera. 
Honorary bearers include Christopher Hernandez, Charley Hernandez, Jr. and 
Candey Sotelo, Jr.

A special thanks to Dr. Matuk and the staff at Bakersfield Heart Hospital. In 
lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
