Mrs. Vennum was born on October 3, 1912, in Texas and resided in Kern County for 62 years. She had worked as a clerk at Vest Drug Store for 30 years. Mrs. Vennum loved to square dance, do needlework, paint and fish. She was full of life and fun. She was called teen age aunt by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Vennum, her twin brother and was the last survivor of 15 children. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Casketbearers will be Kinney Geer, Michael Geer, David Geer, Gaylen Geer, Paul Geer and William Cummings.
