He had worked as an apartment maintenance man and was referred to as being top notch in the field. His hobbies included listening to country music, going to the movies with his son, Tommy and brother, Mike, spending special time with his daughter, Kayla, and he had a special bond with his sister-in-law, Cheryl. He also loved family vacations and spending all the time he could with the love of his life, his wife, Kathy. He was known as Gampy to his new grandson, Kiyren, whom he cherished and saw everyday and daughter-in-law, Jeanil, whom he adored and loved very much. He opened his home to his mother, Joann, whom he also loved very much, where she resided with himself and Kathy for 20 years. He had a special place in his heart for Jack whom he brought into his home and called son. Tommy was loved by all and was there for anyone in need. He was preceded in death by his father, ODell; grandmother, Anna Mae; and daughter, Rose Michelle. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; son, Tommy Jr. and wife, Jeanil; daughter, Kayla (little sister); mother, Joann; brother, Mike and wife, Cheryl; exceptionally special in-laws, Otha and Rose; his 1st grandchild, Kiyren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at Bakersfield Family Funeral, 701 34th Street, on Monday, August 2, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 3, 11:00 a.m., at Trinity Life Chapel, 5721 Norris Rd.
