Ruth Herrera Gonzales 
Services: Fri., July 8, 10:00 a.m. 

Ruth Herrera Gonzales, age 88, of Bakersfield California, passed away July 2, 
2005. Ruth was born in Phoenix, Arizona June 3, 1916. In her early years she 
enjoyed dancing and knitting. Ruth was well liked and had many friends, she 
enjoyed company and entertaining, she was a very generous and caring woman. 
She blessed everyone she parted with. She is survived by her husband Joe L. 
Gonzales; sons Tony & wife Carol Gonzales, Bobby Gonzales, Eddie Gonzales; 
daughter, Irene and husband Rod; sister Delores Dillon; 13 grandchildren and 
21 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Greg Gonzales, Mark Gonzales, Guy 
Rodriguez, Buddy Rodriguez, David Johnston and Chase Anderson. A Rosary and 
Mass will be held Friday, July 8, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at St. Francis Catholic 
Church. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation begins today July 
7, from 5-7 p.m., in the Chapel of Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary, 620 Oregon 
St.
