Gloria Gomez Gonzalez 
March 27, 1948 - July 13, 2005 

Visitation for Gloria Gomez Gonzalez will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 
Niles Street) on Monday, July 18, 2005 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Rosary and Mass of 
Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday 
morning, July 19, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Gloria is preceded in death by her 
mother, Julia Gomez; father, Charles Gomez; son, Danny Gomez; and daughter, 
Christina A. Gonzalez. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, 
Alfonso Gonzalez; son, Andrew; daughters, Josie, Christina, Rosie and Lupe; 11 
grandchildren; 1 great grandson; best friends, Geanetta, Art, Billy and Dee 
Dee as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Gloria was born March 
27, 1948 in Bakersfield, CA and she passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2005. 
Gloria enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she loved helping 
others. She was loved by all that knew her and she will be deeply missed. 
Pallbearers will be Jimmy DelCarpio, Alex Augliar, Art Hinojos, Billy Sanders, 
Alex Ortiz Jr. and Andrew M. Gomez. Honorary Pallbearer will be Charles 
Sanders. For additional service or floral delivery information, call Basham
