Arlene Redman 
October 23, 1931 - April 7, 2005 


Arlene lost her battle with heart disease and emphysema on April 7, 2005. She 
was born and raised in Chicago, IL, where she worked for many, many years for 
Donnelley Corp. in downtown Chicago.

She, and her much loved husband, Bill, moved to California in 1985, to join 
their son in Bakersfield. Her husband succumbed to Lou Gehrigs disease in 2002.

Arlene is now survived by her son, William Redman; daughter-in-law, Lisa 
Redman; granddaughter, Blythe Redman and brother and sister-in-law, Egan and 
Suzanne Gost, all of Bakersfield. Also a nephew and niece, Egan and Ria Gost 
of Sacramento and San Diego.

Arlene was one of four children and after coming to California she, again, 
became an integral part of the family circle and especially cherished and 
bonded throughout the years with Blythe, her granddaughter, who affectionately 
called her Mimi.

It was often said that her pleasant demeanor was a constant part of her 
personality and she ended every phone call or personal contact with the words, 
I love you. Arlene had a full and gratifying life and we wish her God speed on 
her journey to Heaven.

A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends.
