Marci left in the arms of an angel on August 23, 2005. She was born in Camp 
Pendleton, California. She is survived by her 2 children, Mason Ray, 4, and 
Makenna Ray, 2, and their father, Dustin Ray of Cayucos; parents, Lori and 
Bill Charles of Tulare, Brice and Suzie Groesbeck of Bakersfield; sisters, 
Cassi Groesbeck and Nicki Hillman of Scottsdale, AZ; brothers, Ian, Aron and 
Alex Escobar of Bakersfield; grandparents, Margaret and Fred Cabello of 
Tulare, Bruce and Wanda Groesbeck, Chuck and Anita Sanders of Bakersfield; 
numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Marci was a devoted mother, full of life. 
Her beautiful smile and gentle spirit will be missed by all. A celebration of 
Marcis life will be held Monday, August 29th, at Reis Family Mortuary in 
Caycucos with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., followed by a service at 
12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the Marcel Groesbeck Memorial Fund has been 
established for her children at Kern Federal Credit Union (661) 327-9461.
