Betty Libolt

Betty Libolt lost her battle with cancer on April 3, 2005. Born and raised in 
Arvin, CA and moving to Bakersfield in 1964, she began her career as a 
beautician and later became a homemaker. 

Betty was a gifted artist and her beautiful paintings will be cherished always 
by her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, whether it be to Klamath 
River, Pismo Beach, Lake Tahoe or Quartsite, AZ.

She leaves behind her husband, Don; daughter, Laura; son, Scott; grandson, 
Kreg; stepchildren, Don and Melinda and their families; sister, Louise 
Scarbrough; brother, Ray Guthridge; numerous nieces and nephews and CJ.

Her family will say good-bye to this beautiful soul in a private ceremony and 
in lieu of flowers, asks that donations be made to the Lance Armstrong 
Foundation for Cancer Research.
