Lillian was born the eldest of 10 children on Aug. 4, 1915 in Columbus, Ohio, to Russel and Blanch M. Chrysinger Adams. She was preceded in death by five of her siblings. She is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Isaac, Beverly Langston and Linda Newman and her husband Jimmie, all from Tehachapi; brothers John Ehenhoch of Troy, N.Y., and Donald Ehenhoch or Chatsworth; sisters Margaret Cleary of Rochester, N.Y., and Caroline Lighthizer or Rosamond; grandchildren Laura Aurand, Susan Newman, James Newman, Jason Newman, Deborah Smith, Douglas Langston, Jeanette Wilhite, and 17 great grandchildren. Lillian married James LaMar Tolley in Catlettsburg, Ky., on Oct. 8, 1934, and in 1943, Lillian and Jim moved their family to Chatsworth and Sun Valley. James preceded her in death in 1952. In 1975, she married Robert Haaker, and upon her retirement from Lockheed, and his retirement from the Gas Company, they built a home in west Golden Hills and moved to the Tehachapi area. Robert preceded her in death in 1995. Lillian was past Worthy Matron in the Order of the Easter Star, chapter 352, Burbank, a member of the Daughters of the Nile-Mokattam Temple No. 12, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary No. 548 of Tehachapi. Lillian attended the Christian Life Assembly Church. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, oil painting, and she belonged to the Guild and Heritage League at one time. Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 9 from 3 to 7 p.m. and services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. at Wood Family Funeral Service with Pastor Dale Sheley officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery in San Fernando. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements. Additional Comments: Volunteer submission - No relation to the deceased.
