Pastor Winston Urey will officiate. Our Little Scarlette, God brought you into our lives full of hope, faith and love. How appropriate that for Valentine's Day you showed us the real meaning of love. You fought for your life, fought for your strength and showed your courage to remain stable and steadfast. We held your hand for hours, talked to you and sang you songs all day and night. At every crossroad, the Lord gave us peace and wisdom for every decision that had to be made on your behalf. It was clear that it was time for you to be with your Great Shepherd in heaven. For, "All the days planned for me were written in your book before I was one day old." With great love, joy and sadness we held you in our arms until your final breath. Scarlette, thank you for your love and know that we will love you all the days of our lives. With every red sunset we will always think of you and pray that you are watching us from above. Your life was God's perfect gift of sacrificial love and we are thankful for the brief moment of seeing your sweet face. Be patient our darling, until we can hold you in our arms once again beyond the golden gates in all His glory. We love you, Mommy and Daddy. Scarlette is survived by her parents, Ryan and Heather; her sisters, Sarenna and Sonnet; her grandparents, Steve and Debbie Nunneley and Tom and Charleen Haddad; and an entire loving extended family. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Scarlette Raye's name to St. John's Lutheran School 4500 Buena Vista Road Bakersfield, CA 93311. No visitation is scheduled.
