Hall and son of Lynn Hall Jr., and Marjorie Hall. As a young man he served in the U.S. Coast Guard venturing into Alaska and Antarctica. Upon his return, he involved himself in the family oil business and remained an active participant in the petroleum industry until his death. He was an avid aviculturist (exotic bird enthusiast) and a true American adventurer, traveling from one end of the globe to the other, reflecting his great love of the outdoors. A true adventurer at heart, Hank enjoyed backpacking, hunting, fishing, shooting, riding, racing, and many camping trips with his family and numerous friends throughout his life. In recent years he spent some of his happiest days, motorcycle riding in the deserts of California with his son and many friends. At the time of his death, he was an active member of the Bakersfield BMW Motorcycle Club. He had just completed a trip to the deserts of Death Valley and was excitedly looking forward to riding into Alaska. Hank passed away unexpectedly on February 1, 2006. He is survived by his father, Lynn Hall, Jr., of Camarillo; brother, James Olsen and his wife, Kay of Newport Beach; wife, Leslie Hall of Garner Valley, CA; sister-in-law, Diane Hall of Ojai; and his beloved children, Carey Parker and husband, Steven of La Quinta, and son, Christian Hall and his wife, Kristin of Bakersfield, and all his nieces and nephews of whom he was so fond. Memorial services will be held for family and friends at Hillcrest Mortuary in Bakersfield, California, on February 11, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. As quoted by Hank, Its All About The Ride !!
