Dale and his lovely wife, Estela, moved to Bakersfield in 1998. Dale is survived by his loving wife, Estela Serafica Hardman; his father, Victor Hardman; his two sons, Sean and David and daughter, Shannon, their spouses and children; his brother, Darcy and wife, Lynne; his nephew, Charlie and niece, Brea. Dale has three stepchildren, Zayda, Joselito, John and grandchildren; Uncle Bob, Aunt Gloria, Bill and Jean Starkey and longtime friends, Dan Saucer, David Walsh and others that are not mentioned. Dale served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam, serving his country with honor and dignity and was recognized and awarded with several Distinguished Medals of Honor. He retired from TRW after 20 years of service. Chapel service are Tuesday, December 20, 3:00 p.m., at Kern River Family Mortuary Chapel, 1900 N. Chester Ave. Pastor Billy of Kern Christian Center will be officiating. A Mass and Rosary service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., December 21, 2005. Dales casket will be transferred to the Green Hills Mortuary and Memorial Chapel (Palos Verdes) for viewing and visitation among family and friends on Thursday, December 22, 2005, from 2 8 p.m. Dales burial will be on Friday, December 23, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. Reception will be announced then.
