Norma Pearson Harter 
1922 - 2005 

At 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2005, a memorial service will be held at 
St. Pauls Episcopal Church, 2216 Seventeenth Street, Bakersfield for family 
and friends. Norma was born in Willows, California. She attended school in 
Willows and Dunsmuir, CA. She graduated from Chico State College, and taught 
school in Olivehurst and Marysville, CA. Norma was preceded in death by her 
husband, O. Clyde Harter. She is survived by her daughters, Ann McCoy and Jean 
Campbell; sons, Benjamin Harter, Thomas Harter and William Harter; thirteen 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may 
be made to The Nature Conservancy, 4245 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 100.
