Christine Luker 
July 5, 1938 - Nov. 18, 2005 

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Monday, November 21, 2005 at 6:00 
p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., and Mass of Christian 
Burial will be on Tuesday, November 22, at 9:30 a. m. at Christ the King 
Church, 124 Bedford Way, for Christine Luker, 67, of Bakersfield, who went to 
heaven on November 18, 2005. Christine was born on July 5, 1938, in Edinburgh, 
Scotland, daughter of the late James and Charlotte Hay. She married Ernest 
Luker on December 21, 1954, in San Diego, CA they had just celebrated their 
50th year together. Christine is survived by husband Ernest Luker of 
Bakersfield; brother William Hay of Oxnard, CA; son Buddy Luker and daughter 
Cheryl and husband Curt Peebles of Salinas; daughters Linda Millington, Mary 
Jane and husband Michael Carrillo, Catherine Luker, Charlotte and husband 
James McCaskill and son James Luker all of Bakersfield. She is also survived 
by 22 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was a loving, caring and 
supportive wife, mother and grandmother and we will miss our beautiful angel. 
Visitation begins Monday, November 21, 2005 from 11:00 am 9:00 pm.
