Ed L. Hickman

Ed L. Hickman, age 67, passed away September 17, 2005. He was born in Visalia, 
CA to Charles Herbert and Nora Margaret Hickman. After graduating from Mt. 
Whitney High School, and attending The College of the Sequoias and Fresno 
State, he worked for Guarantee Savings & Loan of Fresno and Bank of Stockdale 
of Bakersfield, CA. He had a deep appreciation for the San Joaquin Valley and 
was involved in many community activities in Fresno and Bakersfield. He was a 
long time member of First Presbyterian Church, Fresno and valued his 
friendships throughout the valley. He is survived by Louise, his wife of 43 
years; his son, Mark; his daughter, Julie McGuire and her husband, Brian; two 
granddaughters, Megan and Morgan; and his sister, Allowee Andrews. A memorial 
service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Fresno, on Saturday 
September 24, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Christian 
International Scholarship Foundation, The Pierson Endowment, P.O. Box 1614 
Wheaton, IL 60189-1614
