Addie Verda Roberts

Dec. 22, 1916 – Nov. 15, 2005

Addie Verda Roberts, born Dec. 22, 1916, in Booneville, Ark., to Virge and 
Lucy Hones, passed away Nov. 15, 2005 at the age of 88 years, 11 months.

Her husband, William Roberts, preceded Mrs. Roberts in death. She is survived 
by a son, Jim Roberts and his wife Jane, of Tehachapi; two daughters, Sally 
Mabe and her husband Roy, of Henderson, N.C.; and Mary Friske and her husband 
Wes, of Lewisville, Texas; five grandchildren, Jeff Roberts, Joanna Roberts, 
Julie Vidotto, Vincent Friske and Curtis Friske; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Wood Family Funeral Service on Monday, Nov. 21 
from 2 to 6 p.m. In accordance with Addie’s wishes, a private service will be 
held in the chapel at Wood Family Funeral Service with burial at San Jacinto 
Valley Cemetery in Hemet.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Tehachapi Hospital 
Foundation or a favorite charity. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the 
arrangements.
