Billie resided in Kern County from the age of five attending Fruitvale School & KCHS (BHS). While working at Glenns Drive-In during her junior year in high school, she met and ultimately married Bud Izquierdo. During 55 years of marriage they raised four children: Teresa, Manuel, Jennifer, and Cindy. A life-long homemaker, she also maintained a 37 year career as a consultant and director in Mary Kay Cosmetics. She lived passionately the Mary Kay motto: God first, family second, career third. With her husband and family together they created special memories at their favorite spot, Avila Beach where they all gathered for the last week of her life. A people-person, Billie never met a stranger. A favorite quote was A stranger is a friend I have yet to meet. She was constantly caring and giving of herself to the people in her life. One could always count on a parade of family and friends in their home, a place where all flourished under a blanket of unconditional love. Billie was loved and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by parents Bill and Ruby; sister, Dorothy Cone and grandson, Eric Howard. She is survived by her husband, Bud; daughter, Teresa Izquierdo Howard and husband Billy; son, Manuel Izquierdo; daughter, Jennifer Williams and husband Duane and daughter, Cindy Izquierdo.
