Wesley John Halverson
Dec. 28, 1930 – July 15, 2005

Mojave resident Wesley John Halverson, 74, passed away on July 15 in a 
Bakersfield hospital.

Mr. Halverson was born Dec. 28, 1930 in Decorah, Iowa to Grant and Helen 
Halverson.

Approximately 40 years ago, Mr. Halverson moved to California to be near his 
parents. He was employed for many years at U.S. Borax and retired from Martens 
Trucking after 20 years of service as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and 
fishing as well as doing upholstery work as a hobby.

Mr. Halverson is survived by brother Robert Halverson of Fulton, Ill.; sister 
Lois Morgan and her husband James of Liberty, Mo.; nieces Julie, Colleen and 
Jodi; and nephews Mike and Robert Jr.

Wood Family Funeral Service handled the cremation arrangements.
