Raymond R. Hartley 
8/30/1927 - 8/16/2005 

Visitation begins on Sunday, August 21st, from 1:00 5:00 p.m. Funeral services 
will be held Monday, August 22nd, at 1:00 p.m. Both services at Hillcrest 
Memorial Park & Mortuary in Bakersfield, California. Raymond R. Hartley better 
known as Rudy passed away on August 16, 2005, at Loma Linda VA Hospital. Rudy 
retired from the Air Force as a master Sergeant. He served in WWII, Korean War 
and Vietnam. Rudy was preceded in death by his wife, Irene; daughter, Dawn 
Lenee; older brother, Russell; and his parents, Ora Dell and Luther Hartley. 
Rudy is survived by his sons, David of Indio, CA and Michael of Palm Desert, 
CA; sister, Carmen Neely and her husband, Gerald of Overland Park, KS; 
brother, Herman Hartley of Columbia, MO; and several nieces and nephews. The 
family wishes to thank doctors, nurses and other caregivers at Loma Linda VA 
Hospital and the Redlands Health Care Center. A very special thanks to Vickey 
Barrett and Janet Cegeliski for their friendship and support.
