Raymond Lee Hernandez (Candy Man) 
11/1/1964 - 8/22/2005 

There's so much to say but not enough words to describe my brothers life, he 
lived his life the way he wanted to live, he liked to hang out at the park and 
barbeque, he liked to watch football (the Redskins) and he enjoyed watching 
Godzilla and Star War movies, he loved to cook and his specialty was when he 
threw everything in a pan and called it goulash. My brother was known 
as "Candy Man" to the ladies at Employers Training Resource because at school 
he always had candy in his back pack. Fishing was a favorite past time but he 
never liked to eat the fish he caught. Raymond is survived by his mom, Tina; 
and son, Raymond; sister, Sylvia; brothers, Jose, Richard and Carlos; his 
Uncle and Aunt, Echavarria as well as many nieces and nephews. We would like 
to thank Optimal Hospice, Dr. Claiborne and the nurses at San Joaquin Hospital 
for all their help and support. Hold on to all the memories of Raymond and 
keep him in your heart. There will be a visitation, Thursday, August 25, from 
4-8 p.m., at Funeraria del Angel, 4030 Wible Road. Graveside services will be 
held, 1:30 p.m., Friday, August 26 at Union Cemetery. Pallbearers will be 
Raymond Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez, Eddie Burciaga, Victorio Hernandez, Jose 
Hernandez and Eddie Echavarria.
