Scott Wesley Holcombe 
March 18, 1979 - July 29, 2005 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 3, 10:00 a.m. in Greenlawn 
Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Ln. for Scott Wesley Holcombe, who 
passed away July 29, 2005 at the age of 26. Scott was born in Bakersfield, 
attended Eissler, Chipman, and Highland High School and graduated from 
Foothill High School in 1997. He served in the Navy on the USS George 
Washington, and over the years was employed at serveral local restaurants, 
including Marie Callenders, Mimis Cafe, Roadhouse Grill, and the Elephant Bar 
while attending CSUB as a business major. Scott is survived by his parents, 
Stan and Diane Holcombe; sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Kevin Madding; 
brothers, Bryan Holcombe and wife, Alyson, and Philip Holcombe; grandparents, 
Cleon and Martha Sue Johnson, and Maxine Holcombe; great-grandmother, Winona 
Johnson; 2 nephews, 3 nieces; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a host 
of friends. He enjoyed golfing with his brothers, uncles, and many friends. He 
will be missed for his charismatic personality, tender heart, quick wit, 
charming smile and laugh, and his generosity towards others.
