Lovel Leana Ransom 
Services: Fri., July 8, 10:00 a.m. 

Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for 
Lovel Leana Ransom, 85, who passed away July 5, 2005, in Bakersfield. Pastor 
Winston Grey will officiate. Mrs. Ransom was born on November 15, 1919, in 
Green City, Missouri and resided in Kern County for 67 years. She was a 
beautician for 21 years. She loved to sew and cook and made all of her 
childrens clothing when they were growing up. She also loved her garden. Mrs. 
Ransom was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil in 1994. She is survived by 
her daughter, Jeanette Ransom of Bakersfield; son and daughter-in-law, Gordon 
and Carol Ransom of Nevada City, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ken 
Stephen of Grass Valley, CA; grandchildren, Lindsey Ransom, Paula Ransom and 
Julie Stephen; great-grandson, Tim Nezarez and brother, Charles Holloway Jr. 
of Bakersfield. Visitation begins today, Thursday, 3-9 p.m.
