Evelyn 'Tiny' Howell
Services: Fri., Apr. 22, 9:30 a.m.

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., 
for Evelyn 'Tiny' Howell, 85, who passed away on April 11, 2005. 

Evelyn was born on January 22, 1920, in Bakersfield, CA, the youngest of eight 
children born to John and Marry Hitchcock. She joins her parents, siblings, 
husband Walter K. Howell and daughter Anna Harper who have gone on ahead of 
her.

Evelyn starting working for Montgomery Wards in the 1950's when they were at 
the corner of Chester and 24th St., working many different departments 
including Display and Sporting Goods. When the store moved to the Westchester 
site she was in the Garden Department and held that position up until her 
retirement. She was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters.

She is survived by her son, Allan and Marolyn Howell of Bakersfield; 
grandchildren, Robert and Lorri Howell, John and Carrie Howell, Ron and Leona 
Mello, Daryl and Verna Harper of Bakersfield, Debbie and Lance Offenbacher of 
WA, David Harper of Downing, CA and her son-in-law Jerry Harper of Topeka, 
Kansas; great- grandchildren, Chris Sturges, Robbie, Nicholas, Jacob and Henry 
Howell, Allison, Casey, and Kira Mello and a 3-day old great-great-grandchild 
Elizabeth Faith Sturges of WA and numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Special thanks to Jeanette and Wes Wright for always being there to help.

We Will Miss You, Tiny.

Visitation begins Thursday, 3:00 - 9:00 p. m.
