Glenda Kathleen Mayberry 
February 7, 1954 - July 2, 2005 

Visitation for Glenda Kathleen Mayberry will be held at Basham Funeral Care 
(3312 Niles St.) on Thursday evening July 7, 2005 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and 
funeral services will be held in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Friday 
morning at July 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will follow at Greenlawn 
Cemetery (River Blvd.). Glenda was born in Bakersfield on February 7, 1954 and 
she passed away in Bakersfield on Saturday July 2, 2005 with her family by her 
side. She is preceded in death by her father, Glenn Hulsey and her brothers, 
Ronnie and Willard Hulsey. She is survived by her mother, Wilma Hulsey; 
daughter, Andrea Mayberry; son, Steven Mayberry; daughter, Marette Handy; 
daughter and son-in-law, Marlayna and Jeff Covington; sister and brother-in-
law, Janey and Mike Morgantini; brother, Mickey Hulsey; grandchildren, Cruz 
Gonzalez, Anthony Salas and Makena Covington; best friends, Elecia Blado and 
Caroline Romanini and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many 
friends. Our loving Momma was a wonderful mom, nana and friend. Momma would 
give the shirt off of her back for anyone. The light of Mommas life were her 
kids and her grandchildren. Mom fought a long hard battle with cancer; she 
fought until the very end. A special thank you to Dr. Alam and Dr. Kanamori 
for taking such good care of our momma. We love you and we will miss you
