Gay Lynn Snyder 
March 27, 1952 - July 27, 2005 

Gay Lynn went home to be with our Lord on July 27, 2005. She fought quite 
bravely over the past few years against a very debilitating illness and God 
has chosen to heal her by taking her home. Gay Lynn loved life and enjoyed 
adventure. She had a very caring and loving disposition and loved to joke and 
have fun. She had a dry wit and humor that gave us all a lot of laughs. Gay 
Lynn loved the Lord and in the past few years developed a genuine desire to 
know more about Him and experienced some truly awesome spiritual awakenings. 
She is predeceased by her mother, Florence Hunter of Oklahoma and her father, 
Roy Hunter of Springfield, MO. Gay Lynn has two sons, Shawn, 32 and Todd, 30, 
both of Bakersfield and many relatives and friends who will miss her greatly. 
Gay Lynn had a special friend, her dog, Malibu, who gave her that 
unconditional love that all animal lovers know about. Gay Lynn was born and 
raised in Bakersfield and attended South High School. She was last employed as 
a secretary at Busby A/C. Memorial service will be held at Mish Funeral Home, 
120 Minner Ave., Oildale, CA, on Monday, August 1, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. 
Donations to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated. We know 
this is just a temporary parting, Gay Lynn, till we meet with you again in 
Heaven. We love ya, gal!!
